What is General Counselling?

General Counselling is similar to general practice in medicine. When ever you are feeling upset or troubled for any reason what so ever and you would like help then seeking a professional Counsellor can get you started on the road to feeling on top of things quickly.

Who would benefit from General Counselling?

Any individuals who are feeling, stressed, anxious or depressed or agitated, uncertain, guilty or at a loss.  You may be having difficulties at work and you want to discuss the situation with someone who can be objective.  You may have recently suffered a loss in the family and you need someone to help you through the distress and grief.  You may be someone who has an important career decision to make and would like help from someone trained in effective decision making.  These are just some of the areas in which general counselling can help.

How does it work?

Come in for an initial consultation and discuss your situation with our principle therapist and coach Jim O'Connor.  At that consultation your situation, problem or concern will be thoroughly discussed and the causes of your distress identified.  Then a plan that will work best for you will be outlined and therapy will begin.

You will be provided with understanding and support throughout the entire counselling process.

Regardless of your situation or concern you will be provided with support and understanding throught out the entire process until you resolve your problems.
